K–12 Assistant Principal Falls Lake Academy | Creedmoor, NC Full-Time | 10-Month Position About Falls Lake Academy: Falls Lake Academy is a public K–12 charter school committed to academic excellence, character development, and strong community partnerships. Family-oriented school culture focused on student success, leadership, and lifelong learning. Seeking a collaborative, student-centered, and highly organized Assistant Principal to support the academic and operational success of the school. Position Summary: Support the Principals in the daily operation of the K–12 school programs. Promote a positive school culture focused on academic achievement, student growth, and character development. Provide instructional leadership and administrative support for faculty, students, and families. Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Support daily school operations and administrative functions. Assist with student discipline and behavior management. Promote a positive and inclusive school climate. Support teacher growth through coaching, feedback, and evaluation processes. Assist with curriculum implementation and instructional improvement initiatives.Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and intervention supports. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and support staff. Help coordinate testing, scheduling, supervision, and school events. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and professional development activities. Ensure compliance with school, district, state, and federal policies and regulations. Assist in emergency preparedness and school safety procedures. Maintain effective communication with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field. North Carolina Principal license or eligibility for licensure. Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Preferred: Previous school leadership or administrative experience. Experience in a K–12 or charter school environment. Knowledge of MTSS, instructional coaching, and data-driven decision‑making. Experience supporting student discipline and restorative practices. Ability to foster collaboration and school-wide continuous improvement.
