About the role The Data Center Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for independently performing routine operations and maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, and control systems. This position builds on foundational skills and supports commissioning activities, alarm response, and documentation accuracy in mission-critical environments. What you'll do Independently perform inspections and maintenance of UPS, switchgear, and cooling systems. Monitor BMS/EPMS platforms and respond to alarms. Document maintenance activities and system readings in CMMS. Support commissioning activities and QA/QC verification. Follow all safety protocols including LOTO, PPE, and NFPA 70E standards. Mentor junior technicians and participate in training programs. Assist with RCA and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in mission-critical operations or technical field. Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to interpret one-line diagrams and schematics. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in rotating shifts. Preferred Qualifications OEM training on UPS/CDU systems. Military technical background or trade school credentials. #J-18808-Ljbffr
