Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Cardiothoracic Surgery

Providence has a Per Diem opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the Heart Institute of Montana in Missoula.

Currently, the surgeons perform over 435 open hearts and 150 thoracic cases per year and are supported by a dedicated team of APPs, nurses, surgical technicians and other clinical/clerical office staff. There is also a robust structural heart program that performs 250 TAVRs annually demonstrating the outstanding collaboration between interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery physicians. • 10-hour shifts with possible weekends and on call

• Proficient skills in endoscopic vein and radial harvest

• Experience assisting in complex valve and bypass surgeries

• Support the surgeons in the operating room during cardiac and thoracic surgeries

• Participate in daily management during the postoperative period
