Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of results, investigate discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all laboratory processes, mentor new staff and students, and help uphold stringent quality standards.
• Promote a safe, organized work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification during your tenure.
