About the Position

Job Summary:

· Operate or oversee the operation of radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.

· Prepare patients for radiological procedures and ensure safety compliance.

· Identify patient service requirements and establish rapport with patients and staff.

· Prepare patients for radiological procedures, including positioning and equipment adjustments.

· Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff using protective techniques and equipment.

· Maintain production and quality of radiographs, process images, and make necessary adjustments.

· Document patient care services in records and verify exams.

· Ensure the operation of radiology equipment through maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Manage radiology supplies inventory.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures and regulations.

Requirements

Skills:

· 2+ years of experience required.

· N.Y. State Dept. of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist.

· Competency in performing diagnostic procedures, excellent communication skills, quality focus, and more.

Education:

· Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

· Minimum Licensing Requirements: New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).
