Responsibilities

• Enter timesheet and equipment data into the company payroll system
• Review timesheets for inconsistencies and follow up with supervisors to resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile payroll entries, corrections, and labor/equipment transfers
• Prepare and submit certified payroll in compliance with contract requirements
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and government agencies

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of payroll processing experience, including union and/or certified payroll reporting
• Payroll experience within the construction industry

Preferred

• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax filings
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Experience with union payroll compliance matters
• Familiarity with certified payroll and labor compliance requirements
