Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Rotating Start Times: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $2800/weekly to $3400/weekly (depending on the experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for an exciting Contract opportunity in Hyannis, MA. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures by scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and documenting patient care.

• Prepare patients for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.

• Operate imaging and interventional equipment while adhering to radiation safety, infection control, and quality standards.

• Assist with contrast media administration, maintain procedure room inventory, and ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, equipment maintenance, and other departmental duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

• Current RCIS, CI, VI, or ARRT certification, as applicable.

• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (where applicable).

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.

• IABP (Intra-aortic Balloon Pump) course completion required.

• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiovascular procedures.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
