Associate Attorney

Position Overview Sandel Law Firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing practice full-time. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator, a clear communicator, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. This role offers significant client interaction and the opportunity to develop expertise across the personal injury plaintiff field. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of client matters from intake through resolution Negotiate injury claims directly with insurance adjusters Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations as needed Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, explain legal options, and manage expectations Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy Direct and coordinate paralegals and support staff as needed Stay current on relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory changes Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Ohio, in good standing 2+ years of experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and courtroom experience Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently Professional, client-first attitude with strong interpersonal skills What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and firm holidays Continuing legal education (CLE) support Mentorship and clear paths for professional growth Collegial, team-oriented firm culture Sandel Law Firm is an equal opportunity employer.
