Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Surgery Recovery Room position requiring prior pre/post and PACU experience, Epic proficiency, and travel nursing experience.

Details

• Surgery Recovery Room unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift with a flexible start time of 0900–1730 or 1100–1930, dependent on department need
• On-call required based on department needs, currently averaging 1–2 shifts per week
• On-call coverage every third weekend (Friday end of shift through 0630 Monday morning)
• Rotating holiday coverage shared with staff
• Floating may be required within skill set, both on-site and to facilities within 40 miles
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (both must be AHA-issued)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior pre/post-op and PACU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications, license verification, Driver's License, and full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
