Inventory Analyst

Position Summary The Inventory Analyst is responsible for strategic inventory management, analysis, and optimization within a nutraceutical manufacturing environment. This role supports operational efficiency, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), NSF requirements, and regulatory standards applicable to dietary supplements. Responsibilities Analyze inventory trends and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels Establish and maintain inventory policies including safety stock, reorder points, and stocking strategies Monitor raw material, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory levels Identify risks related to shortages, excess inventory, or obsolescence Develop recommendations to improve inventory efficiency and reduce carrying costs Lead inventory improvement initiatives and process enhancements Oversee cycle count programs and physical inventory processes Monitor inventory transactions for accuracy and compliance Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain accurate ERP inventory data and reporting Partner with Production Planning to ensure material availability Customer owned inventory reporting and address customer concerns/questions Complete annual food defense training and ensure food safety practices when entering production area Ensure compliance with cGMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines at all times. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of inventory, supply chain, or analytical experience preferred Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing preferred Experience in GMP-regulated environment preferred Physical Requirements This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day.The assigned personnel must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 25 pounds.
