Human Resources Manager

Large well established food manufacturer in Tucker, GA is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team! This position will own the full HR function for a multi-shift manufacturing site and work directly with plant leadership on retention, engagement, and compliance.

Salary range is $110,000–$120,000.

Direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of the plant leadership and HR teams, driving both site-level and company-wide HR initiatives
• Manage HR support staff and partner with plant management on employee related issues
• Investigate employee concerns and complaints and recommend resolutions
• Coach and train leaders and provide key HR metrics to support decision-making
• Lead recruitment and onboarding to support retention and staffing goals
• Identify ways to reduce absenteeism and turnover using company data
• Communicate policies, procedures, and compliance updates to the workforce
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment law
• Oversee workers' compensation, FMLA, and leave of absence administration
• Administer performance review programs
• Conduct an annual equity audit and keep job descriptions current
• Manage the HR department budget
• Support the site's food safety and quality programs

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• 5+ years of HR management in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting a multi-shift production facility
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law
• Experience with HRIS systems

Preferred:

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification
• ADP experience
