Job Title: Graphic Designer (Digital & Social Media Focus)

Seeking a Graphic Designer for 20+ hours a week.

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, versatile Graphic Designer with strong digital and social media experience to join our team. This role combines visual design, illustration, and photo/video editing with hands-on management of social media content and paid advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is both artistically skilled and digitally savvy, capable of producing engaging visuals and executing them effectively across multiple platforms.

$25-$45/hour depending on skill set. This is a hybrid job requiring the Designer to be in the office for 4-6 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality visual content for digital, print, and social media channels
• Create and edit images using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Develop original digital animations, vector artwork, and visual concepts
• Edit short-form videos and motion content using video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
• Design and schedule social media posts across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Manage day-to-day social media content publishing, ensuring consistency with brand voice and aesthetics
• Plan, launch, and monitor paid social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
• Analyze campaign performance and provide insights or recommendations for optimization
• Maintain and update website content using WordPress, including pages, posts, and media assets
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute campaigns and creative strategies
• Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and project objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• MUST be able to work independently without supervision. You will be required to help define concepts for advertising campaigns, build rough examples, refine them through our critiquing process, and complete projects on or before the deadline.
• MUST be open to new concepts, ideas, and learning new things. If you want a structured position with detailed requirements, no need to read further; this is not a position for you.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with at least one video editing tool (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
• Hands-on experience creating and posting content to social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
• Experience planning, executing, and managing paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads)
• Working knowledge of WordPress (content updates, page creation, and basic site management)
• Solid understanding of design principles (typography, color, composition, hierarchy)
• Familiarity with social media trends, formats, and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation
• Familiarity with additional tools such as Figma, InDesign, or Canva (as needed)
• Portfolio demonstrating design, social media content, and video work
• Must be a team player and be able to accept critiques

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design with demonstrated social media and digital marketing skills

Work Environment

• Hybrid – In-office meetings 2-3x per week, photoshoots on-site, with design work completed at home.
