Duties

Help

As Emergency Management Specialist, you will:

• Execute emergency management preparedness and response activities.
• Coordinate emergency response with internal and external partners.
• Collect and manage data.
• Participate in training exercises conducted with participants from the Department of Defense.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications : You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

• Analyzing of contracts and emergency response capability development problems using mathematical, statistical, or modeling techniques.
• Determining realistic assumptions, requirements for data, specific analytical information to be utilized.
• Applying procurement knowledge and experience to manage contracts supporting assigned projects.
• Attending briefings, develop plans, collaborate with other agencies, and write correspondence
