Sales Manager

Pay or shift range: $80,000 USD to $90,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Prospect and develop new business opportunities through telephone solicitation, sales calls, networking, and outside sales activities. Maintain and grow existing client relationships. Identify new market segments and revenue opportunities. Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and revenue targets. Prepare and negotiate contracts in accordance with company guidelines. Conduct hotel tours and client presentations. Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry associations. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business. Account Management Build long-term relationships with clients. Respond promptly to client inquiries. Conduct regular account reviews. Maintain accurate client information in Delphi, OnQ, or other CRM systems. Ensure contract details are communicated effectively to Operations. Revenue Management Work closely with Revenue Management to maximize occupancy and ADR. Understand market conditions and competitor activity. Assist with developing sales strategies to increase revenue. Review pace reports and production reports. Partner with Catering, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering to ensure successful execution of group business. Attend weekly sales meetings and revenue strategy meetings. Communicate client expectations clearly to operational departments. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate sales activity in CRM. Submit weekly activity reports. Prepare proposals and contracts. Maintain organized account files. Complete required Hilton and company training. Relationship building Time management Organization Problem-solving Professionalism Initiative Accountability Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred. Hilton experience preferred. Knowledge of Delphi, OnQ, or similar hotel sales systems preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Education Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent hotel sales experience may be considered. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to travel locally for sales calls and networking events. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to attend evening and weekend networking events as business requires.
