Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the direct and indirect total respiratory care of assigned patients. The role includes the supervision of assigned personnel. This position requires knowledge of relevant policies and procedures for respiratory care delivery. Strong interpretive, interactive, consultative, management, and supervisory skills are essential. Effective communication skills are necessary for information exchange in written, auditory, or visual formats. Basic skills required include written communication, telephone interaction, and manual dexterity. The primary patient population is primarily adults, with a small percentage of pediatric patients. Experience with various respiratory conditions and procedures is necessary for this role. Candidates must be prepared to work some holidays and weekends as needed. The position is located in a smoke and nicotine-free facility. Travelers must have an active license in hand at the time of submission.
