Logistics Management Analyst

Logistics Management Analyst 2HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst (Logistician) to join our Central Inventory Control Point (CICP) team located in Elkridge, MD. The Logistician controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. They ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet objectives and ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. The Logistician builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.What You Will Do:Performs daily shipping and receiving activities including but not limited to routine monitoring of email and government sites for shipping notifications, performing visual inspections of equipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and inclusion of required componentsInteracts with customers to complete order requestsTransports inventory to and from local destinationsEnsures that inventory surveys are performed in accordance with established proceduresMaintains automated and manual accounting recordsReconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviewMaintain Travel LogSchedule Facility/Equipment Maintenance and repair servicesMaintain FedEx Shipping LogAssist with inventoriesTrack shipments to final destination and resolve in ODINAssist in lifecycle management documentationAssist in product integration and fit testsWork with Procurement to make purchasesRun weekly vendor history reportsMaintain invoice payment status spreadsheetWhat We Are Looking For:3 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience3 years of experience with supply chain or asset managementExperience with logistics lifecycle management support operationsPossesses working knowledge of DoD specifications and guidelinesProficiency in MS Office SuiteValid driver's licenseAbility to travel long distances within CONUS approximately 10% of the timeSecurity Clearance: TS/SCI with CI PolyFamiliarity with ODIN, DIAS, IBM Cognos, and/or OnBase softwareFamiliarity with FedEx, TMO, LOC, and DCSPrevious work with Special SensorsPrior military logistics experience (Army MOS 92A, Air Force 2G0X1, Navy LS)Aerospace industry logistics experienceMilitary equipment management or maintenance experience, i.e. signals equipment and/or Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) equipmentMust be able to climb ladders and lift, carry, transport heavy equipment, and operate a cargo van and pickup truckThe listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
