Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist based in Asheville, NC, and apply your skills in a busy hospital setting. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across the continuum of care. Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or equivalent documentation where applicable.
• Active North Carolina SLP state license prior to the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, if required by facility.
• Experience providing SLP services in an acute care or hospital environment, including work with stroke, critical care, or neonatal/pediatric patients is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia assessment and intervention, instrumental assessments (MBSS or FEES), or prior exposure to higher-acuity units such as ICU, stroke, or trauma.
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility or trauma center is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1800.
• Weekend rotation required.
• Typical shift length: 7-10 hours.

Impacting Patient Care


Provide direct patient care in a regional referral hospital serving as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams that include neonatology, pediatrics, cardiothoracic surgery, and robotic surgery programs. Your work will support evidence-based assessments and interventions that affect patient outcomes across acute and specialty services.
