Registered Nurse (RN) - 5W Medical Telemetry Day Shift - (Hours: 7a -7p) Weekend & Holidays per department guidelines. Wilmington, DE ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 5W Medical Telemetry Unit. Unit 4N is a Medical Stepdown Unit caring for patients with diagnoses affecting all systems: Pneumonia, COPD, HF, Stroke, change in mental status, diabetes, wounds, UTI, Pancreatitis, stroke, and cellulitis. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The unit provides staff with various learning experiences in a fast-paced environment. Working on a mixed-acuity unit will allow you to be ACLS certified, learn from critical and emergent patient situations, and use best practice techniques from evidence-based care. Education & Experience Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License. BSN Preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years of hire date. RN must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit within a hospital setting to be considered.
