Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina PTA License required
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for working within interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseload expectations with efficiency and compassion
- Adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and student needs within the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering individualized therapeutic interventions for students, promoting mobility and participation in school activities
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress, adhering to school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student progress and therapy strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their fullest potential
