Senior Human Resources Manager

Our client is a global manufacturing organization with a strong technical heritage and a growing U.S. footprint. They are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to serve as the senior HR leader for a complex, unionized, manufacturing facility within a regulated medical products environment. This role will be instrumental in stabilizing labor relations, rebuilding trust, and restoring strong people practices at a critical site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior HR leader for a large, unionized manufacturing facility, providing visible, credible, and consistent leadership
- Own day-to-day labor relations, including contract execution, interpretation, and issue resolution
- Partner closely with plant leadership while maintaining independent HR judgment on legal, ethical, and cultural matters
- Lead core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compliance
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with some experience in manufacturing interacting with employees on the floor
- Has led the grievances process
- Experience in unionized manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to operationalize labor agreements
- Emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and comfortable rebuilding culture
