About the Role: The Operations Manager is the senior on-site leader responsible for the safe, compliant, and financially disciplined operation of the anaerobic digestion plant and depackaging facility located in Southington, CT. This role oversees approximately 16 team members through direct reports, including the Superintendent and Depackaging Facility Manager, and serves as the critical link between frontline operations, leadership, compliance, and financial performance. This individual must be equally effective in the control room, on the plant floor, and in performance reporting, setting clear expectations, holding teams accountable, and making timely, data-informed decisions that move the business forward. This is a highly engaged, hands-on leadership position. You will be actively involved on the plant floor, collaborating in cross-functional meetings, and leveraging performance data to drive efficiency, optimize processes, and ensure smooth, reliable operations. • 7+ years in plant or industrial operations
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments
• Strong safety and compliance knowledge
• Ability to use data to drive decisions• Great leadership and communication skills Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Waste, recycling, energy, or similar industry experience
• Lean / Six Sigma experience Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Industrial plant setting (noise, dust, temperature changes)
• Active role - walking, standing, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• PPE required
