Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary Loyal Source is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in humanitarian medical missions worldwide. The role involves clinical assessment, treatment, and coordination of care in dynamic environments. Schedule Full time 36-48 hour work week Day, Night, and Weekend shifts Pay $61.50 per hour plus $4.57 fringe. Housing and weekly stipend provided for travelers. Requirements Any state license accepted Minimum 1 year of experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine NP Education or Training: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by NLNAC or CCNE, and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Comfortable with all age groups 0-99 Experience with Communicable Diseases Must have or obtain BLS through AHA Must not have been convicted of, pled guilty to, pled nolo contendere to, or received probation before judgment for any crime other than a minor traffic violation not expunged Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start Type of Work Provides direct care to patients Performs medical histories and completes necessary paperwork Evaluates and provides care per SOP, with medical follow-up on sick call or walk-ins Provides emergency and first aid treatment within scope of work until transfer to a local healthcare system Performs limited, minor surgical procedures that do not require extensive care, labs, or radiographic studies (e.g., simple suturing of uncomplicated lacerations, incision and drainage of simple cysts) Reviews/reevaluates daily or as necessary those cases requiring ongoing medical or pharmaceutical attention Carries out orders authorized by the physician supervisor Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records Applies knowledge of drugs and therapeutics when prescribing and dispensing medication EEO Statement Loyal Source does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or any other non‑merit factor.
