Physician Assistant

Position Overview Full‑time Physician Assistant position to deliver direct care in humanitarian and emergency settings worldwide. Schedule & Compensation Full time, 36–48 hour work week. Day and night shifts available. Salary: $61.50 per hour + $4.57 fringe. Housing and weekly stipend provided for travelers. Qualifications Current state medical board license for a PA (temporary license not accepted). Minimum 1 year experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine. Valid PA certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an ARC‑PA accredited program, or bachelor’s degree in a health‑related science plus an ARC‑PA accredited PA program, or ARC‑PA accredited PA program plus progressively responsible health care experience. BLS certification through AHA or equivalent. Clear Tier4 security clearance at start. Must be comfortable with all age groups 0–99. Clear criminal record (no conviction or plea other than a minor traffic violation). Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and complete necessary documentation. Conduct medical histories and perform follow‑up on patients per SOP, urgent care, or walk‑in. Administer emergency and first‑aid treatment within scope of practice until transfer. Perform limited minor surgical procedures such as simple suturing of uncomplicated lacerations and incision and drainage of simple cysts. Review and reevaluate cases requiring ongoing medical or pharmaceutical attention daily or as needed. Carry out orders authorized by the supervising physician.
