Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and conduct internal HR audits and compliance reviews.
• Support audits and regulatory tracers related to The Joint Commission, FTCA, and HRSA.
• Monitor and follow up on action items associated with performance improvement plans.
• Ensure employee personnel files and records are maintained in accordance with applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Track mandatory training completion for new hires and existing employees.
• Maintain current knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide backup support for processing voluntary employee terminations.
• Research, interpret, and communicate compliance requirements to support HR operations.
• Assist the HR department with additional duties and compliance initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Experience using an HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to review and interpret large amounts of data with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
