Cost Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst for a growing organization in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. This position plays a key role in analyzing manufacturing costs, supporting inventory accounting, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing financial insights that drive business decisions. This role offers a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one day remote each week.

Responsibilities: • Analyze product costs, inventory valuations, and manufacturing variances
• Prepare and maintain cost accounting reports and financial analyses
• Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting
• Monitor standard costs and support annual cost updates
• Partner with operations and finance teams to improve profitability and reporting accuracy
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or related finance experience
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
