Work Environment

This onsite role is based at our outpatient office in vibrant Los Angeles, CA, where you will be a part of a close-knit team that includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while meeting the urgent demands of our patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for thorough care and engagement.
• Utilize advanced treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to optimize patients' recovery and mobility.
• Document and monitor patients' progress meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives to improve clients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment journey to enhance their commitment to recovery and physical fitness.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by designing customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects and communicate changes in care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance who seek treatment for a variety of orthopedic conditions. They range from active individuals recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients dealing with post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will involve creating a welcoming and supportive environment, where each patient's unique situation is understood, and their recovery is prioritized.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Los Angeles, CA, without any disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective, individualized exercise routines.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to utilize them efficiently for documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality care.
• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices in treatment and rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and modalities utilized in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
