Payroll Specialist

Overview Position: Payroll Specialist Location: King of Prussia, PA Shift: DAYS - 8 HR 8:00am - 4:30pm Pay range: $20/hr - $25/hr Duration: 34 weeks Summary: Payroll Analyst - Supervises and coordinates payroll processing for semi-monthly payrolls (in excess of 1,500 employees). Coordinates data from various departments and ensures accurate processing in Lawson HRIS. Reviews payroll reports for accuracy and makes adjustments as necessary. Responsibilities: Manages biweekly payroll processing, including supervising biweekly payroll processor and providing necessary training and support. Oversees the completion of various financial reports and spreadsheets. Assists with department projects as necessary. Qualifications Skills Required: Microsoft Office proficient. Lawson experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task, problem-solve, keep information organized, and work well independently and with others. Essential Duties Supervise and coordinate processing of payroll for semi-monthly payrolls (over 1,500 employees). Coordinate data from various departments and ensure accurate processing in Lawson HRIS system. Review payroll reports for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary. Coordinate resolution of employee-related payroll inquiries and issues that may arise. Manage biweekly payroll processing. Supervise the biweekly payroll processor. Assist with coordination of tax filing utilizing ADP. Maintain payroll-related spreadsheets and keep organized records. Provide technical payroll support to facilities and employees.
