Vice President of Global Payroll About the Company Globally renowned digital payments & financial services company Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Global Payroll to spearhead the strategic, governance, and operational aspects of payroll across all international regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end global payroll processes, ensuring compliance with diverse regulations, and driving operational excellence through the implementation of technology, automation, and scalable frameworks. This executive will work in close partnership with Finance, HR, Legal, and regional leadership to deliver a top-tier payroll experience for a global workforce. Key responsibilities for the VP of Global Payroll include owning the global payroll strategy, leading a high-performing team, overseeing accurate and timely payroll processing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves serving as the executive owner of the payroll system, establishing and monitoring global payroll KPIs, and leading vendor management for various payroll-related partners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' progressive payroll leadership experience, with at least 7 years in managing global payroll operations, and possess deep expertise in global payroll processes and compliance requirements. Strong proficiency in Workday, proven experience in leading large teams, and a track record of implementing scalable processes and technology-driven improvements are essential. The role requires exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change-leadership skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed environment.
