Automotive Mechanic - Part-Tiime (AM)

POSITION TITLE:

Automotive Mechanic

Transportation Director

HOURS:

Part-time, 4.0 hours per day(6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Mon-Fri)

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$25.40 per hour per CSEA Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is skilled work involving responsibility for the complete overhaul and repair of a variety of automotive equipment and related types of machinery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

One (1) year of experience as a skilled automotive repairperson. Thorough knowledge of standard automotive repair methods and of the terminology and tools of difficult repairs to heavy automotive and other mechanical equipment which may include diesel equipment. Working knowledge of welding techniques. Skill in motor function and dexterity. Ability to work from plans and specifications and to follow rough draft sketches and oral instructions. Hand-eye coordination. Manual dexterity.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
