Job Details Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse / Cardiopulmonary ICU (CCU) Employment Type: Travel RN Location: Columbia, South Carolina Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,820 Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Setting: Adult cardiac ICU and medical intensive care with step-down overflow Charting Experience: Epic preferred Patient Ratio: 2:1 Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU, CCU, or CVICU nursing experience required Strong cardiac ICU experience preferred, including advanced cardiac devices and complex diagnoses Experience caring for patients with LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP, vents, CRRT, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias required Experience with post-cardiac surgery, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, and sheath removal required Epic EMR experience preferred; 1 year minimum experience with Epic required Must be comfortable floating to other qualified ICU or Cardiac Telemetry areas as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced adult critical care environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to adult cardiac and medical ICU patients Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac support devices and invasive lines Perform ongoing hemodynamic monitoring and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips according to patient needs and protocols Care for ventilated patients and support CRRT and other critical care interventions Interpret rhythms, recognize instability, and intervene appropriately in urgent situations Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, IV teams, and other interdisciplinary partners Support safe transitions for post-cardiac surgery and pre/post cardiac cath patients Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system and follow unit standards of care Apply now for this rewarding ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina, and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
