Head of Product / Product Lead About the Role the Head of Product will serve as the primary owner of SiMa.ai portfolio roadmap, connecting customer and market requirements with Sales, Architecture, Engineering, Partners, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations functions. This role is expected to ensure that SiMa.ai develops the right solution for the right customers and markets, while driving products from initial business requirements through development and lifecycle management. The Head of Product is not intended to replace the technical leadership of Engineering; but defines what should be built, for whom, why, and when, while technical teams determine how the product is engineered and implemented. The Head of Product will partner with Operations and Financial teams to gather product costs, to determine trade-offs and validate these with Sales.


Core Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision

• Defi ne and maintain overall product strategy, and roadmap aligns with SiMa.ai business objectives and market opportunity
• Lead the vision and roadmap for MLSoC, SW, Board level and IP offerings
• Identify and assess new product opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to drive product innovation
• Develop and maintain product business cases, including target pricing, product cost, margin expectations, development costs, volume assumptions, and expected ROI
• Consistently communicate product strategy across SiMa.ai teams and coordinate efforts across technical, marketing and sales teams

Product Development & Customer Focus

• Understand system level architecture, cooperate with Sales, Marketing and BizDev functions to uncover and consolidate strategic customer and market requirements document (MRD)
• Partner with Architecture and Engineering to translate MRD into clear product requirements (PRD) and execution plans (roadmap and PoR) for the entire portfolio components (device, SW, SOM, IP) of SiMa.ai solution
• Fully represent the customer inside the organization and advocate customers' point of view at every stage of product development. Make certain we are building what matters
• Provide business and product direction to Engineering teams based on market and customer priorities. Defining SW priorities and acceptance criteria for each SW release.
• Participate in major product architecture, feature and platform decisions from a product and business perspective
• Identify gaps between customer requirements and existing capabilities and develop appropriate solutions Defi ne key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, work to ensure we can track product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Product Leadership

• Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure that the product strategy aligns with SiMa.ai overall business objectives and customer needs
• Provide executive management with clear visibility into product priorities, development progress, investment, risks
• Build organizational support for good decision making
• Ensure full alignment with Operations, Engineering and Finance on key financial metrics including product cost, SG&A, Dev Cost etc.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, semiconductors, SoC, Physical AI
• Demonstrated experience managing products from customer requirements through development, launch, and commercialization
• Demonstrated track record of converting major or strategic customer opportunities into successful and commercially scaled products, especially in regulated market segments
• Expertise in HW and SW development, AI and vision stack and developer fl ow
• Ability to bridge commercial requirements and technical execution
• Strong executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership skills
• Proven ability to prioritize investments and resources in an entrepreneurial, cost-conscious environment

Key Success Measures

• On-time definition of aligned and committed next generation product plan and roadmap
• On-time delivery of recurring product definition milestones for SW
• Positive feedback from major and strategic customers on the roadmap
• Full internal visibility into current Plan of Record (roadmap) with regular updates

The annual salary for this position ranges from $231,100 - $358,200. The actual annual salary offered will depend on several factors, including - among others - job-related skills, experience, technical expertise, qualifications, work location, and business needs. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.


In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for private company equity, and a comprehensive package of employee benefits. Please note that the salary ranges listed for U.S. roles reflect base salary only and do not include equity or other forms of compensation.
