About the Role
ADCO Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for a hands-on Junior Estimator/Inspector to join our team. You'll split your time between the field and the office, supporting a steady mix of commercial roofing and waterproofing projects. It's a great opportunity to grow your career with a company that takes pride in quality work.
What You'll Do
- Perform roof inspections, identify issues, and recommend solutions
- Read blueprints and flashing details; document deficiencies with photos and sketches
- Report on roof and flashing system conditions and recommend maintenance or repair
- Assist with estimates and proposals
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of roofing or construction experience
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, common defects, and the California Building Code
- Ability to accurately document and report field findings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for day-to-day communication and scheduling
- Willingness to learn AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude) and drone operation for inspections and documentation
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable with outdoor work and a full-time weekday schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Takeoff software experience (PlanSwift, The EDGE, or similar)
- Confidence reading blueprints and flashing details
