Are you ready to make a difference?The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Internship Program is a prestigious, cohort-based experience that attracts top talent from across the country for paid, full-time summer internships spanning majors and functional areas – from economic research and finance to Cash Services, IT, and beyond. While interns take on a specific functional role for the summer with meaningful work and opportunities to grow, the program offers much more than a single assignment. Dedicated staff mentors help launch your career, and curated cohort programming provides broad exposure to central banking, direct access to senior leaders and industry experts, and dedicated learning and development opportunities. As part of the Federal Reserve System, you'll also build a professional network of peers that spans the nation. The program runs approximately for 10-12 weeks, beginning in mid-to-late May and concluding in August. For this specific position, you will be located in the Dallas office.You'll join the Credit Risk Management IT Portfolio, a team that supports technology solutions for credit risk and discount window functions across the Federal Reserve system. Depending on team priorities, you may support business analysis, data and reporting, agile delivery, or risk and controls work. You will report to a member of the Credit Risk Management IT Portfolio leadership team and be paired with a dedicated staff mentor throughout the summer.What You'll Do:Assist with gathering, documenting, and clarifying requirements for technology initiativesSupport data analysis and reporting efforts, which may include building dashboards or visualizations from operational dataParticipate in agile ceremonies and project activities alongside business analysts, product owners, scrum masters, user experience professionals, and developersAssist with reviewing and tracking risk, control, or access-related items in support of IT governance and compliance activitiesDocument findings, processes, or outcomes to support team deliverables and knowledge sharingWhat You Bring:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field (other majors with relevant coursework or experience will be considered)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with basic data analysis or reporting tools (e.g., Excel) is helpful but not requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing prioritiesAttention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools, processes, and business conceptsOur Benefits:Professional development opportunitiesBroader networking opportunities across DistrictDowntown location with free parking24/7 on-site fitness center (Dallas & Houston Offices)On-site café and coffee shopWork Hours:Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/ week).
