Senior Product Development Project Management Specialist

Responsibilities Lead or leverage cross‑functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies. Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between project management, planning, project team and management. Manage development and implementation processes involving departmental or cross‑functional teams focused on delivery of new or existing products and processes. Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Monitor projects from initiation through delivery. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction goals. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention/problem‑solving. Gather requirements, perform requirements planning, elicitation and management to meet stakeholder demands. Communicate with stakeholders, obtain engagement to ensure end products or processes solve business problems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with minimum 2 years, or PhD with no experience required. Experience with Microsoft Project. Broad cross‑functional knowledge and comprehensive business management skills. Ability to direct and lead a cross‑functional team of product development, clinical, regulatory affairs, quality, operations, supplier quality and product marketing professionals. Physical ability to perform office tasks, including independent mobile work and use of a computer. Location This role will be based in either Plymouth, MN or Galway, Ireland. U.S. candidates may work a combination of onsite and remote; flexible arrangements are not guaranteed. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: U.S. – $118,400.00 to $177,600.00 (USD); Ireland – €64,640.00 to €96,960.00 (EUR). Eligibility for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
