Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $31.35 $46.59 (based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy orthopedic and surgical OR setting
• Assist with a variety of surgeries including total joint replacements, sports medicine, ENT, GYN, spine, urology, cataracts, and general surgery
• Set up and maintain sterile environments for surgical procedures
• Chart patient data and assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Support and collaborate with surgical teams, including scrub techs and physicians
• Help with patient positioning, instrument handling, and post-operative care
• Float to SPD as needed and assist in other departments after orientation

What You Need

• Active and unencumbered RN license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum orthopedic experience, especially with Zimmer and Arthrex
• Ability to perform across all specialties in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system
• Flexibility to assist with both adult and pediatric cases

About the Assignment This position is with a small, physician-owned hospital in Manhattan specializing in orthopedic, total joint, and sports medicine surgeries. The facility conducts approximately 20 surgeries per day across multiple specialties, maintaining an efficient and team-oriented culture. Staff are expected to be proficient in all areas of surgical care, support OR and SPD tasks, and provide high-quality patient service in a fast-paced environment.
