RCM Specialist

Job OverviewThe RCM Specialist supports the accurate and efficient management of the entire revenue cycle for behavioral health, outpatient and/or Surgical practices. This role ensures timely billing, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up through the use of platforms such as Simple Practice and Tebra. The biller plays a key role in maintaining compliance, maximizing reimbursements, and supporting the financial health of the practice by coordinating with insurance companies, clearinghouses, providers, and patients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle medical billing: insurance verification, charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and patient collectionsUtilize platforms such as Simple Practice and Tebra for billing, scheduling, and reporting tasksExperience or familiarity with other major EHR/practice management systems including TherapyNotes, Practice Fusion, Modernizing Medicine, and/or Athena is a plusEnsure timely and accurate claims submission to commercial payers, Medicaid, and MedicareFollow up on outstanding claims, resolve rejections/denials, and ensure proper reimbursementConduct eligibility checks and pre-authorizations when neededWork closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate coding and billingGenerate and analyze aging reports and accounts receivable summariesMaintain compliance with HIPAA, payer regulations, and internal policiesAssist in process improvement and optimization of billing workflowsBenefits:Medical ($0 Premium!), Dental, and Vision BenefitsFitness Fund Reimbursement Program for gym memberships and massagesMatching 401(K) program with 100% matchGenerous Paid Time Off program; 8 Paid HolidaysHQ On-site amenities include Gym, Massage, Pickle Ball court, Chiropractor and Naturopath at Fife, WA HQJoin us to be part of a dynamic team that values accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in healthcare billing!Qualifications3+ years of experience in healthcare claims billing, specifically for Behavioral Health, Outpatient, and/or Surgical practices (required)Strong command of Simple Practice and Tebra systems (required)Experience with other platforms such as TherapyNotes, Practice Fusion, Modernizing Medicine, and/or Athena is a plusSolid understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding, modifiers, and billing guidelines for behavioral health and outpatient servicesFamiliarity with commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirementsProven experience in claim follow-up, denial resolution, and AR managementStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExperience working in remote environments is a plusPreferred QualificationsEducation: College or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in healthcare administration, Certification in Coding or a related field is preferredFamiliarity with medical billing software and U.S. payer processes is an advantageAttributes: Proactive, team-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information professionally #J-18808-Ljbffr Continuant
