Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team.The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a basic understanding of nursing principles and procedures. The CNA will assist with various nursing duties, including personal care, patient monitoring, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
- Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Transport patients to and from appointments or procedures.
- Assist with bed making, room cleaning, and laundry.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Complete a certified nursing assistant training program.
- Current CNA certification in good standing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Basic understanding of nursing principles and procedures.
