Business Litigation Associate

The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join its growing team in Houston or The Woodlands, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience who is looking to take on substantive responsibility, work closely with experienced litigators, and handle sophisticated commercial disputes across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities Draft and argue motions in state and federal courts. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues. Manage written discovery, document review, and production. Take and defend depositions. Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related filings. Participate in case strategy development and client communications. Assist with the handling of complex business disputes from inception through resolution. Support matters involving real estate litigation and eminent domain issues, as applicable. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar or eligible for admission. 3-5 years of business litigation experience in a law firm setting. Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing motions and taking depositions. Strong background in legal research, discovery, document review, and pleadings. Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. Strong academic credentials required. Experience with real estate litigation is preferred but not required.
