RN - Psych Profession: Nursing Specialty: Psychiatric Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x 12hr shifts - Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required License: Valid State RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Associates Degree in Nursing required Ability to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox CPI Trained Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to communicate on various levels: patients, families, providers, coworkers Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately Ability to set strong professional boundaries Dedicated team player Self-directed and able to stay productive during downtime Description:The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team.This role is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care.The RN will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide care for children and adolescents, ages 6-18, on an inpatient behavioral unit.Primary diagnoses treated include major depression and ADD/ADHD.Responsibilities include medication administration and education, daily documentation of patient care, and managing behaviors throughout the unit.Additionally, the RN will participate in and lead education groups. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
