Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in schools preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to advocating for students’ communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and deliver individualized speech and language therapy
- Develop and implement goals for students with speech-language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions as required
