Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their individual functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills
• Collaborate within Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Share essential therapy techniques with patients and caregivers, ensuring progress continues outside of clinical settings
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary, keeping patients aligned with their goals

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development is highly regarded

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) credential
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
