Automation Technician - Assembly

Job Description

Job Summary:

\n

Seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated assembly and manufacturing equipment supporting plastic injection molding operations.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems, conveyors, robots, and end-of-arm tooling.
\n
• Troubleshoot thermolators, adhesive dispense systems, UV curing systems, and ancillary equipment.
\n
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including fuses, circuit breakers, pressure leaks, and equipment faults.
\n
• Complete maintenance activities using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
\n
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in computerized and paper-based systems.
\n
• Follow equipment manuals, SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
\n
• Support Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, downtime, and waste.
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 1–3 years of maintenance/automation technician experience.
\n
• Experience with automated manufacturing or assembly equipment.
\n
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
\n
• Basic MS Office skills and strong attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to work onsite and follow safety and quality procedures.
