Description:

In this role, the candidate will work alongside team members in managing the infrastructure within the Capital Markets, Fix Income business unit of Client. The infrastructure includes both on-premises virtual compute resources, as well as public cloud provider infrastructure such as AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn new cloud technologies and is driven toward continuously improving and expanding skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is desirable
• At least 3 years’ experience with AWS is preferred with familiarity of CFN, EC2, ALB/ELB, EBS, EKS, ECS, S3, KMS, IAM, Lambda
• A strong understanding and experience working with automated deployment orchestration tools such as Terraform, Concourse, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
• Ability to take initiative and drive to a solution.
• Solid knowledge of Linux / Windows infrastructure
• A strong understanding of Network Protocol Stack
• A good working understanding of Certificates and SSL/TLS
• Experience writing / developing scripts & tools necessary to perform deployments. Experience with bash and/or Python with a software development background is a strong plus.

The Team:

Our team works all aspects of building and maintaining infrastructure and plays a large part in this migration to public CSPs. Not only do we manage the infrastructure, but we are also responsible for building automated pipelines, which allow for repeatable deployment processes for both infrastructure and applications. This role will augment our existing team by expanding our capacity to build and manage Fidelity's infrastructure within Capital Markets. As Capital Markets continues to grow our infrastructure, this team will continuously innovate to migrate many on-premise applications to public cloud providers such as AWS.
