Founding Head of Strategic Sourcing & COGS Optimization

GNO Partners works with about 500 Amazon brands doing more than $1B in combined Amazon sales.
We're launching a new division focused on one thing: reducing our clients' Cost of Goods. We're looking for a senior sourcing operator to build it with us from zero.

What you'll own
Working directly with our CEO and our brands, you will:

• Analyze COGS and build should-cost models to find where brands are overpaying
• Negotiate with current factories, benchmark alternatives and run RFQs
• Improve payment terms and MOQs, and find value-engineering savings
• Qualify new suppliers and reduce supply risk
• Build GNO's methodology and SOPs, then hire and lead the team under you

This is for you if

• You've personally negotiated with factories, ideally in China / Asia
• You can show savings you drove yourself, with real numbers
• You've worked on OEM / ODM consumer products, ideally across several brands or categories
• You want to build something from zero, hands-on
• Experience at an Amazon aggregator, sourcing company or CPG brand is a big plus

This is not for you if

• Your background is mainly logistics, inventory, planning or indirect procurement (software, services, facilities)
• You've managed big budgets but rarely negotiated with a factory yourself

You're not joining a department. You're building one. We already have the clients, the relationships and the distribution. You'll build the system that can save hundreds of brands millions of dollars, and become a founding leader of a new business unit inside GNO.
