As a Student Business Development Team Lead representing SpaceX on behalf of Mosaic, you will be on the front lines of the Starlink Customer Acquisition Program in your territory or on your campus. This role is primarily focused on sales, lead generation, community outreach, and customer conversations, with an added Team Lead component that allows you to help support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination throughout the program. This is a hands-on field role where you will be out in the community, starting conversations, building awareness, and helping families explore reliable high-speed connectivity. You will own an assigned territory near campus and use door-to-door outreach as your main focus, with opportunities to build momentum through local events, community connections, and referrals. You will receive paid training from Mosaic and Starlink/SpaceX, ongoing coaching, and the chance to earn hourly pay plus commission for every qualified activation. As a Team Lead, you may also help identify strong student referrals and serve as a helpful point of contact for your territory or campus. You will have the opportunity to earn $100 for each eligible referral you bring in who is hired and begins working on the program, in accordance with program referral guidelines.

Responsibilities: Own your territory. You will be assigned neighborhoods around campus and use broadband coverage maps and territory tools to find households that may be a great fit for Starlink. You will help plan your routes, track your outreach, and learn what works as you build momentum. Start real conversations. Introduce Starlink through door-to-door outreach, explain the current service and hardware offerings, answer questions, and help interested customers get started using your personal referral code. Customers complete their own order on their phone, so you never handle payment or personal information. Make an impact in the community. Look for opportunities beyond the front door, including farmers' markets, community events, local business partnerships, and civic groups where residents gather. Strong performers may have the opportunity to support Starlink events and activations. Grow your network. Turn positive conversations and satisfied customers into introductions to neighbors, family, and friends who may be looking for a better internet option. Learn from your results. Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in Mosaic's field app at the end of each shift. You will also have regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review wins, talk through challenges, and sharpen your approach.

Qualifications: You are currently enrolled in school and can work 15 to 25 hours per week around your class schedule, including some evenings and weekends when residents are most likely to be home. You have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone. Because territories are rural, reliable transportation is important. You do not need prior sales experience to be successful here. We are looking for students who are ambitious, coachable, comfortable meeting new people, and excited to learn. Experience in sales, fundraising, customer service, athletics, student organizations, or campus leadership is a plus. You are self-motivated and dependable. You will have a manager, training, territory guidance, and a clear plan, but your success will come from how you manage your time, follow through, and keep showing up with energy and curiosity.

Pay, perks, and support: This role offers base pay of an hourly rate plus a $200 commission for each qualified activation, paid after the activation is qualified. Compensation is designed to reward both consistency and performance, making this a strong earning opportunity for students who are motivated to build their territory. Team Leads may also receive $100 for each eligible referral who is hired and begins working on the program, subject to program referral guidelines. You will also receive paid training, mileage reimbursement, a monthly cell phone stipend, Mosaic-provided Starlink apparel, territory guidance, and regular manager support. For example, a representative working 20 hours per week who reaches the program minimum target of 10 activations per month would earn a base pay plus $2,000 in commission for that month.

Program timeline and details: Paid training begins the week of October 5, 2026, with field selling from October 12 through the end of the year. Strong performers may be considered for spring semester expansion and campus lead opportunities. Representatives are W-2 employees of Mosaic, not of Starlink or SpaceX. Employment is contingent on a background check completed after offer. Some markets require a local solicitation permit, which Mosaic will help you obtain. Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States. Mosaic Sales Solutions, part of Acosta Group, builds and operates field sales and marketing programs for leading brands.
