Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in New Braunfels, Texas. This full-time position requires candidates to demonstrate clinical competence in a perinatal setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing care to mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients, with a focus on ensuring safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: New Braunfels, Texas
• Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), RN License in state of TX or a compact license, BLS certification (American Heart Association only), current certification in one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants), NRP certification, ACLS certification (American Heart Association only), 0 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, recent practice in a perinatal setting, Perinatal RN Residency training
• Additional Information:
  • One open position with one offer accepted
  • Start date: 07/27/2026
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2 for Labor and Delivery, 1:6 (3 moms/3 babies) for Postpartum
  • New nurses must attend orientation within the first 30 days of hire
  • All new hires are precepted by trained staff, with onboarding validated through competency assessments, including Perinatal Services-specific competencies and annual verification.
