Senior/Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead critical initiatives involving infrastructure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Architect, design, and develop platform infrastructure capable of scaling to millions of connected devices.
• Influence platform features and direction through technical ideas and solutions.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to engineers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver key results aligned with product and organizational objectives.
• Establish engineering best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study.
• Experience with Python and/or Go.
• Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Interest in learning new infrastructure products, features, and strategies.
• Comfort working at the frontier of infrastructure and software development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Terraform experience preferred.
• Kubernetes experience preferred.
• Experience with a service mesh such as Istio preferred.
