HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their Capital Division is seeking a Pathology Market Medical Director to be based at and oversee LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.

Qualified Candidates:
• AP/CP Board Certification required
• Medical directorship experience with desire to provide mentorship required
• Recent experience signing out general surgical pathology and performing frozen sections is required
• Virginia licensed or FCVS in place preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
