Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient respiratory needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer respiratory therapies, medications, and treatments per physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold NBRC RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license in hand at start.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of adult critical care respiratory therapy experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and complex respiratory procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications; additional certifications preferred.
  
  
• 
  Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including holidays and every other weekend.
