Electrophysiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Cath Lab, focusing on diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. The role includes working with various cardiac devices and technologies while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
• Assist with cardiac device implants and other interventional procedures.
• Ensure sterile techniques are maintained throughout the procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary care during interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in after-hours call as needed, predominantly from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or a related field.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with various interventional cardiology and electrophysiology technologies is preferred.
• Must be able to float to similar units as required.
